Welcome New Families

Welcome to Haley’s Little Fish!

We are so happy to have your child/children enrolled with us. We are looking forward to making sure your child learns the very most important skills when it comes to water safety, swimming, floating and surviving.

Just a few things to go over before your first day.

•Make sure both of your waiver forms are filled out and completed BEFORE your first lesson.

•Do not allow your child to eat or drink anything besides water for THREE hours prior to lessons and no dairy products before lessons.

•We allow one makeup session per child, per session. We require a three hour notice to issue a makeup credit to you that is good for two weeks. This credit can be used when we have available spots on our weekend/drop in sign ups.

•All children three years of age and under MUST wear two reusable swim diapers. The specific ones we require are linked below. The happy nappy swim diaper is the second layer on top.

•Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your lesson time. Your instructor will call you in when they are ready to begin your class. We are happy to have both parents and siblings come to lessons but please keep in mind your child is working hard and learning new skills in a new environment so as few added distractions as possible is best!

Most Importantly - Your child will feed off of you. Learning new things with a stranger in a new place brings out big feelings. Please know while your child is in our care we are loving and encouraging the entire time. While times it may be uncomfortable to watch your child upset, it’s very normal. Your instructor is highly trained in handling all situations so please refrain from stepping in unless asked. This will help your child develop trust and a relationship with their instructor.
